Antonio Giovanni, a fifth-generation winemaker in the rolling hills of Tuscany, is the epitome of temptation. Tall, dark, and handsome with an accent sexy enough to leave a trail of women’s panties in his wake. The man wears charisma like a fine silk suit…flawless and molded to perfection in all the right places, leaving just enough mystery to make you wonder what lies beneath the faultless exterior.

Hope Tidwell, a world-renowned sommelier, is a strong independent woman who fights to have control over every aspect of her life. She makes her own money, her own decisions, her own happiness, and her own mistakes. Her existence doesn’t need to be validated by a man; she refuses to ask for anything except an orgasm, and even those she can manage on her own.

Relationships for most people are as natural as breathing. However, Hope and Antonio are two players who master the art of seduction and the fear of emotional intimacy. When tragedy strikes close to her heart, Hope is fated to do the one thing that terrifies her most.

Destiny reveals the biggest gifts often require the greatest sacrifices.

Fiction Guild Review! The Wedding Chapel By Rachel Hauck

Fiction Guild Review! The Wedding Chapel By Rachel Hauck

I loved so many things about this story! Its the ultimate second chance romance story, blended with spirituality, and hope and commitment that made it a heartwarming read that reminded me a lot of a Nicholas Sparks book! The characters have a blend of past events for Colette and Jimmy, and Jack and Taylor’s present. And it explores how their path’s intersect. Their stories intermingle quite a bit!

Jimmy and Colette have been in love since the early 50s and their story is why the Wedding Chapel was built but Taylor is Colette’s sister’s grandchild and married to a boy she knew in high school who they had lost touch with but
Became reacquainted with in New York. . . . The story takes some twists and turns and you just have to experience it!

All of the characters have this intricate back story and their own struggles and I think that is what makes this such a fascinating read. . . How they stand up  to the challenge and rise above it makes it intriguing! There are secrets and misunderstandings and letting your past decide your future, pride also plays a huge part. I love Rachel.’s writing style and how she weaves everything together at the end.

Fiction Guild Review: Just A Kiss By: Denise Hunter

Review: Just A Kiss By: Denise Hunter

This book was a Hallmarkesque story haha (you know the ones where they are just perfect for a movie!) Paige and Riley have this relationship that reaches back years and you know I adore a friends to lovers story they always get me in the feels, I believe strongly in the bond that being friends and able to have that communication with each other is important. Although in this story it adds tension to the story because they have to fight the “is this gonna ruin our relationship?” Or “uhh this is my best friend. . . Should I be feeling these emotions?”

Added to the situation is the internal battle Riley is experiencing after returning home from deployment injured. . . I’m not quite sure this was shown to the extent it actually is like (might be a little sugar coated a smidge which was what stopped me from five staring this book) but all in all I loved thr story and characters, as the author says in the note at the beginning it is part of a series and is the final book in the series but as this is the first one i’ve read I can say that I didn’t feel lost. . . So it does function extremely well as a standalone novel. . . The focus on family and faith is a touching aspect to the novel that I believe is one of its strengths. . . I would like to maybe see a novella of more Riley and Paige.

Review: The Loyal Heart By: Shelley Shepard Gray

I have been on a historical romance kick here lately and I picked up this one yet again because it had the backdrop of the Civil War. It was a heartwarming read about a pact made between brothers in arms to take care of one another and their loved ones.

In the vast state of Texas Galveston Island is probably one of the most picturesque locations, Miranda Markham is still grieving the death of her husband and vicious rumors are ruining her reputation. . . I felt so bad for her having to deal with that all alone and could see why she felt hopeless in the situation. It did give her a chance to showcase her faith and sometimes God picks unlikely angels to show his faithfulness. In this story the saving grace is Robert Truax and his arrival definitely shakes up the story.

He pushes and gets her to start living again despite the rumors and we find out that he was imprisoned with Phillip and was always intrigued about her, her made a promise to look after her with the other men in their unit. . . (They make appearances in the story as well) but gradually Robert wants to be her champion and protect her. He gets to the bottom of the rumors and finally confesses his feelings it makes for a amazing story.

I loved these characters and I hope we get to see more of them down the road!

About the Author

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life — a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can’t forget that. She’s also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She’s been a wife, though she’s certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She’s also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she’s been drinking whiskey.

From roots in Houston to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.

Nothing makes my day more than a new Staci Hart book! This author can do no wrong and her ability to switch from genre to genre is always spot on! With Nailed the tension and chemisty bleeds off the page! Like the heroine in the first chapter says its INTENSE!

These snippets are pure fantasy, we get no character names until the third chapter and fourth chapters, but only descriptions and how the air is nearly electric around the couple. . . the sexual tension between each couple is different and Staci seems to have explored what people stereotype as typical fantasies, exhibitionism, the random stranger, the guy next door. .. . Etc  the third and fourth we get only one person’s name and from the POV of these stories its totally fine. . . We live second by second through their experiences. Its grittty, raw and not your momma’s romance novels that’s for sure. But its also the beauty of Staci’s writing. . .

Review: Dancer By: Jamie Schlosser

Review: Dancer By: Jamie Schlosser

Amazon Link:

I fell in love with the small town and characters Jamie introduced us to in Trucker and now with Dancer we return to Tolson for Colton’s story. He was intriguing as Travis’s best friend so I was insanely glad that we get to see more of his story! (Psst. . . . Trucker might have stiff competition for my favorite Jamie book. . . . Just sayin’)

The story starts off in the past and we learn that Brielle (Ellie) and Colton were besties when they were young and from this little nugget of info i’m just like “SCHWINGG! Jamie knows what I love!” I love when romance novels start out with the kiddos being best friends and then life happens and gets in the way, it sets the stage for a beautiful love story. Dancer breaks the mold with that typical trope though, some how she invigorates this tried and true storyline and makes it her own. She deals with an issue that 99% of romance novels won’t touch with a ten foot pole but deals with it sensitively and dosen’t make that the entire story.

Colton and Ellie’s love story is picturesque in all the best ways, its epic enough to give you the warm fuzzies but relatable enough to where you can imagine it happening to someone you know and that is what I love most about Jamie’s novels. They meet you right where you are and unfold in front of you and take you in, as with Trucker this book I read in a little under 4 hours and could not put it down! Another fantastic story from an amazing author on the rise, the sky is truly the limit for Jamie.

Book Tour! Dancer By: Jamie Schlosser

DANCER FRONT.pngDANCER by Jamie Schlosser

Series: The Good Guys; Book 2

Genre: New Adult, Contemporary Romance

Release Date: December 8th, 2016

Technically, I’m not a stripper. As a cage dancer, I don’t take all my clothes off and no one gets to touch me. I’m just the eye-candy.

And I can feel their eyes on me. I know they’re watching, but I don’t do this for them.

This is my time.

My life may not have turned out the way I thought it would, but I’m not complaining. From 9pm to 1am several days a week I get paid to feel sexy, to feel desired, to do what I love.

I always knew I wanted to be a dancer—I just didn’t realize I’d be doing it in a cage.

Erectile dysfunction—two words that can cause a collective cringe from men everywhere. The doctors can call it ‘performance anxiety’ all they want, but that’s just a fancy way of saying my dick doesn’t work.

Just when I start to think there’s no hope for me, I see her. She’s gorgeous, sexy, and goofy as f*ck. She also looks really familiar but I can’t put my finger on it.

When I find out who she really is, my world is turned upside-down and everything seems to fall into place.

She’s not gonna make it easy for me, but I’ve never been one to back down from a challenge. She’s convinced I won’t stick around.

I’ll prove her wrong.

I’ll show her I’m one of the good guys.

*Although Dancer is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone.

A TRUCKER CHRISTMAS, A Romantic Short Story:

dancer-teaser-1Portrait of muscular, shirtless man in blue jeans.dancer-teaser-3

My attention was snagged by a girl in the cage on the opposite side of the room because a guy had approached her. He tried to stick his hand through the bars, obviously intent on copping a feel. A bouncer quickly intervened, steering the intoxicated man over to a less crowded area.

Through body language and hand gestures, I could tell the bulky security guard was explaining that touching the girls was against the rules.

Drunk Dude huffed, gave the dancer one last lingering look, then staggered over to the bar.

My eyes trailed back over to the girl who was still moving around as though nothing happened and, suddenly, I couldn’t look away. I was captivated.

Not because she was hot—and she was hot—but because she was smiling. A big, genuine smile.

Her movements kept in time with the peppy beat of ‘Vacation’ by the Go-Go’s as she started hopping around.

Her big ‘80s-styled hair flew through the air as she spastically tilted her head from side to side. The long chocolate strands whipped around the confines of the cage and I swear I could see her laughing.

She was having fun. She loved this.

The jean shorts she had on were so short that I could see her ass cheeks hanging out of the bottom and my eyes traveled down her toned legs, then back up. Her waist was tiny and she had an hourglass shape with full breasts, which were jiggling with her every move.

This was entertainment.

Not only was this girl gorgeous and sexy—she was also goofy as fuck. She did some sort of head-banging move before twirling around like a ballerina.

She was still grinning and her chest shook with giggles. I could almost imagine what it would sound like to hear her laugh.

And as I watched, I found myself laughing along.

I felt a familiar tightness in my jeans and was beyond shocked when I glanced down to find myself stiff as a board.
