In 24 hours Emma has taken me on quite the emotional journey with these characters and it physically hurts to leave them in the book. We went through highs and lows and now that I have finished the last page all I can say is everything happened exactly the way it was meant to.

While I wish the road would have been easier for Kacey she has grown so much from the person she was at the beginning of Full Tilt and everything she went through and the love that she experienced with Jonah served its purpose, it opened her up and taught her so much about herself and that she deserves the world, so even though their story ended tragically the person she is with Theo is exactly who she was meant to be.

It further exemplifies how everybody you meet has the power to impact your life no matter the amount of time they spend with you. This second half of the duet is just as powerful as book one but in different ways. We see growth, change, powering through discomfort and the will they or won’t they made for quite a few dramatic moments. These books are so incredibly moving and well written that I know they will be on my re-read list for years to come. You can’t stick them in one genre. . . Its more than new adult, its more than a tearjerker. . . The best way I can explain it is. . . Its life. Bravo Emma! You perfectly captured this story and wrapped it around our hearts.
