This series just keeps getting better and better! Karla has always been the best at creating these amazingly realistic, relatable characters this story though she touches on a topic that most people wouldn’t touch and she is fearless about broaching this topic that so many couples deal with and one that is so incredibly close to my own heart.

Cole and Julia have been put through the wringer and they are just going through the motions of their day to day life. The hurdles between them are huge and you have to wonder a little bit if love can be enough to heal them. But if Karla accomplishes just one thing with this story it is this — she brings you right into the conflict, uses the back story flashbacks like a boss and makes you FEEL EVERYTHING! I felt so emotionally wrung out after reading it, but so completely happy and fullfilled at the end.  (now don’t get me wrong, I think she accomplishes so much more than what is mentioned above! But for you jaded romance readers or people who refuse to read romance THIS IS THE BOOK THAT WILL TOUCH YOUR SOUL!)

I dare you to not be affected by this story, to not fall in love with these characters, I dare you to pick up the rest of Karla’s books if you haven’t read them all because in each one she reaches down into your heart and tangles her fingers in your heartstrings and lets you know that hurts happen, people are gonna disagree, life is sometimes unfair. . . But love can indeed conquer all if we believe in it enough to go after it.
